Oh, here is another bag I finished, actually finished two like this. I was teaching my grandaughter to sew and she made one and so did I.

Very cute! It is not exactly my style since I need a very large bag to hold everything I have to carry with me to just leave the house. I would love to have have one just like this to give all 3 of the girls across the street from me. They range in ages from about 8 to 13 and the oldest 2 are beginning to really bloom. They were just little girls when I moved here but have turned into nice young ladies. This gave me a good idea. Is the handle just braided material? This is a very cute pattern either from your stash or your head. You did a great job on this small bag!

We braided the handle. The fabric was from my stash. I actually downloaded the pattern from the internet, but don't ask me what site.
