This is done on that rubber type shelf liner. I made it to prevent my machine from moving around on the table & it prevents "helpful people" from "helping me move it" to make room where there isn't any. I take it to friends & to classes & where ever my machine has to travel.

Cute! I have a good bit of this rubber type stuff in a burgandy. I need to put my thinking cap on and figure out what design I could use on it. I chase my computer keyboard all over the table! I think I have a computer crossword design that would work for the keyboard. Thanks for the great idea! The design is darling!

GREAT IDEA!!!!! Everyone should have one of these with a design. I use some under my serger. Never thought to embroider it! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, I like to do unusual! Like sewing on Toilet paper, hahahaha & today I sewed on polyurathane! As for tips see spanishpeach.

Thank you, I guess the only thing I can tell you is: use a good stabilizer on the backside. I used John Sew (it's good for any weight & when I'm not sure which one to use I use this)Try not to do a dense design, if you check out my name you can see space, so it's best not to do too dense a design.Good Luck
