In July my dear friend of 54 years had her 80th Birthday and I made her this gift. She has just been diagnosed with cancer and been given 6-8 weeks..I am so very upset with this news, such a terrible disease...I pray she will not suffer too much pain.

Thank you all so very much for your kind words, I have just now heard from her daughter that it will not be too much longer, she is now in paliative care facility.

To keep you all up to date, Phyllis passed away quietly last night. I had spent the day with her and her daughter and had said my goodbyes. I feel she was kept comfortable and didn't suffer to much.
