I read this on a few designs & i like the sound of it.In my day we/I might have just said making something from nothing LOL Anyways i had a few old pair of Johns jeans & i thought i could still get some use from them if i turned them into potholders(as if i need more),so that is what i have done.On the left is my finished one & on the right i am showing parts on there way .I quilted two pieces of fabric to make it nice & thick so you won;t burn your hand.Oh ya you put your hand in the pocket to use this .This heart is the design that Linda(darling wife) made & the angle is from cute under redwork!!Well what do you all think???

No i took it off sewed my pattern then put it back on .you put your hand in the pocket to use this pot holder!!!

I think it is a great idea and a great way to use hubbys old jeans, now if you can just get him to use the potholders you'd have it made. I mean just think how many times he's had his hand in the pocket anyway. (Love you John) **4U

Thanks but John will not use these as he is blind & he could get burned ,but i did get to use up his old jeans thanks!!!

What a brilliant idea.I love recycling fabrics and make a lot of bags from them but this is a .LOL.brilliant way of using the back pocket.Thank you for sharing.Guess I am going to have lots of denim potholders from now on
