I phoned a friend yesterday to see if we could go together. She is taking 3 days off from work, a serious quilter. I plan to meet her later as I have an app. this morning. If I don't have enough time to see all I want, I may go back tomorrow. It is being held at the Gwinnett Civic center, Maybe 35 to 45 minutes away. I'll tell everyone about it tomorrow. I wish all of us could go together. Jrob is probably more than an hour and a half away. Are you going,jrob?

I only wish . My group is going but I couldn't get off from work & Baby shower and quilt class this weekend., maybe next time. a flower for you . Have a good time and think of all of us wishing we were with you.

Sigh, no, it's too far, boo hoo. Why don't you mention to people there that Erie, PA, has a brand new great *big* convention center right on Lake Erie (I mean on the water, literally) and a summer show would be *wonderful* up here!! Seriously, there are lots of quilters up here, and all the shows are so far away, and summer on the lake is just gorgeous!! An expo in our convention center could be really big. Maybe, someday... wish I could..... but am too far away in Germany! In my area there is hardly ever anything happening but at least I can look forward to a course in latest patchwork techniques in a week's time. Am scared stiff though cos I'm a beginner at patchwork but couldn't say no when hubby enrolled me as a surprise gift!! I hope I'll be up to it, if not I guess I'll find his shoulders to cry on lol.
