I no longer have bobbin thread showing through the top, however I went to use the stitch width knob (it also controls some functions when embroidering, which is what I was doing) and nothing happened. So I switched over to sewing and the machine is stuck at .70 width and the knob turns and nothing happens. Called "my man" and he said he keeps the Series 8-knobs on hand at all times because they have a little plastic part inside that breaks off even when they are just bumped, so I have to take it back to get that replace. Wouldn't you think when Bernina has the gall to charge over $10 grand for a machine that they could use metal instead of plastic on a knob for heaven sakes and if they know it's an issue, replace the broken ones with metal........VENTING...thanks for listening....
GGGGRRRRRR! It will be fixed free, but I have to take time out to drive 50 miles (closest dealer) and he will meet me so he can fix it while I wait at least.....
big hugs.
