cont. or more often if you are sewing on terry cloth or any other fabric that leaves fibers behind. I totally break down my machine once a week and give it a good cleaning. What's the saying? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure or something like that. ;)

Yes, Jrob, good idea to remind everybody. The computerized machines are far more likely to mess up than the old sewing machines. And 'beeping', whether my computer or my sewing machine does it, scares the dickens out of me, usually. Thanks for the heads up. Marji

well sounds like its alive and im sure it is as many of us replied that when we leave the room it plays up well i come to the conclusion that it needs food ( oil and maintenence) and clothing ( cover for dust) new house and new ones going up no yard = dust :) they stay alive longer :) * for you all take care and love ur machines and they will in return provide a :) cant beleive i said that lol
