It is not in a zip file is it? My sewing machine does not like certain brands of usb sticks. Is this a stick that you have used before without a problem? also make sure the design is in the correct format. Hope this helps, Midge

what is the format that you selected? For example I can download in .jef or .sew or .pes or whatever but I can't use .sew when I am transferring the design as .sew is onlu for working on the design, I can only transfer in .jef maybe this is the same for you? Hope that this helps.

Sometinmes if you have too large of a capacity stick the embroidery machine cannot read it.If you have a software program (I use 4D) why don't you try saving the design into a folder on your computer,try opening it and When you see that you have it on your computer click on "copy", then click on "File", next,click "Save AS" then a dialog box will come up and ask where you want to copy it to,scroll down until you see the particular usb stick you are using and copy the design to it.I would only use the stick that came with your maachine just to be safe. I sold one design and the customer had the same problem as you, and she wanted the money back. I sent the money back because I didn't know what else I could make after sending the files 2 times. It is frustating. I hope you find what is wrong with your design. Hugs, Yoriko

As a cutie mentioned - it could be the size of your stick - some machines only like a 1 or 2 mb size. Another potential is the machine does not like the format of the file (some machines can only read certain versions). It may help if you tell us what machine you have and what format you are trying. Check and see if you can download in another format your machine will read. Also, some software programs will allow you to send the design, after it is unzipped, directly to your embroidery machine Then, if you want, you can save it to your machine. I save my designs once they are on my embroidery machine to the same file all the time. Just over rides the previous design as to not take up space on my embroidery machine. That way if I have a problem, say the power goes out, the design is saved exactly as it was before the loss of power. And sometimes you had to make adjustments once it got to your embroidery screen. Just FYI

The size of the embroidery picture has to fit inside the hoop listed on the embroidery machine as well. This is just another solution to those listed

I had to re-format my stick to accept the designs, not sure but I think it was to the 32 bit. I did several so I don't recall for sure. Never had a problem after that.

I use a usb stick to transfer designs to my machine. If the file is a zip file. I have to open it and then save the .pes (or whatever kind you use)to my stick. How you get it figured out.

Sometimes if there are word documents or pictures on the usb the embroidery design will not open! hope this helps ***
