raels011 - Tell those cutie pie redheads of yours that they are special and a vanishing breed. I have a redheaded grown daughter and they say that there are fewer and fewer redheads being born. :

Our family was about the same way, skipping generations. A flower for you.

My mother said she wished someone would leave a redheaded baby on her doorstep. I was born not many months after that, but all of us were tow heads. My husband had auburn hair, but I have one brunette daughter and one redhead. and we only had one redheaded nephew, but his hair is not longer red. *'s to all of you lovely special redheads!

My husband (a redhead) is from a family with 10 kids... 5 of them ended up with red hair. There are now 17 nieces and nephews and only one, maybe two (can't tell quite yet) has red hair..

I have an eight month old grandson that has red hair. We have no idea where it came from because there hasn't been a red head in our family as far back as any of us can remember. But I guess there had to be one somewhere!

I think you are right about fewer. I too am a redhead, my mother was also, one newphew and one great niece (I guess that is the proper title???). We have one redhead in every generation that I know of. (At least 5 generations and bright red)
