Claire, this is lovely - I do hope that you sent EL a picture of this for their 'Stitcher's Showcase' - I would only have these out for display - once eating started - I would change the placemat - Hehehe!

I haven't sent these to EL yet, I have sent them some in the past, had them acknowledged but never posted... a bit off putting. The placemats are completely washable - I washed them to get all the markings off prior to giving them to my friend - I think nice things are to be used not saved for 'one day'. Cheers Claire
Well - if they are washable - then yes - use them - they are stunning.
I sent once to the EL and they published. I would try again. The placemats are so beautiful, the show is worth it. Good luck! Hilde
