Have always loved the idea of bottle cover and this was another first! It was going to be a gift BUT I may have to keep it myself or put it on a bottle for my Hubby for Valentines day. Don't think I can wait. Kathy

Ps ...Didn't have a wine bottle so this is on a balsamic vinegar one!

Looks great Kathy! I have not made one of these yet but looking at yours makes me want too. It's so pretty. My sister and sister in-law both love wine. I'm the tea drinker :)

Thanks Lee-Anne! It took next to no time, trying to decide in which order to sew the sunflower onto the apron took the longest, but it would make a lovely gift if you can manage to part with it! He he. I've been trying to rack my brain as to how you could use it on/around something to do with tea. Didn't come up with much only that they do sellthe ready to drink iced tea in bottles. BUT I bet you could modify it somehow to suit you. :)

That's spot on but you may have to make more than one if like me you can't part with the original. Thanks for stopping to comment. Kathy

Oh! How cute is that? Great job! and a great idea. There are several of us that don't drink alcohol, so this gives it a whole new meaning. LOL... Thanks

Thanks! You could even put it on a bottle of really nice Extra virgin Olive Oil too, so yes if you don't put grapes etc on it you could embroider ANYTHING on it. Kathy

Kathy, you are never too late - you got it made - that is the important part - the fact that you enjoyed it enough to want to make another is the true test of a challenge - Hehehe! You did wonderful. *4U

Thank You So Much Shirlene! I did enjoy it very much. I was way toooooo late for the candle challenge so I was glad to join in (sort of) with this one. It was easier than I though to make the apron doing the sunflower was A LOT of applique. But I happy with how it turned out! Thank you for you kind words. Kathy
