I just made a pair of them and I didnt use vinyl I used organza and it worked fine. Hope this helps, sorry didnt know where to get the vinyl. Iva

You can get vinyl at your local fabric center.But you can use fine tulle or organza instead.

Vinyl(not the plastic stabilizer) is another form of wws(water wash-away stabilizer). You can get from your local sewing/embroidery shop.

Any store that carries the large rolls of table coverings in their fabric dpt. There are different weights, I'd get the thinnest. I have also cut this into strips long enough to go around my thread. It clings to itself.
