I know many of you people go to sewing forms right???Well on there a lady named barb----------- is putting these very minny quilt blocks pg.4,5 .Well i want them large like 4x4 or 5x7 would suit me just fine.Anyways she has them 1.39x1.39& i grew mine up to 4.15x4.51 & here is the result!!!I wrote & asked her if she could make them bigger but i got no answer & i don't understand that site very well.do i dare try them larger ??I think i would need them thicker,denser not sure what to call it ?????Carolyn

Sorry, can't help you. I get lost on sewforum too, it is very confusing! Those look very nice though. Good luck and have fun!

Hi Carolyn, you could probably find the same blocks on a quilt site and they would probably be bigger in size they look like block I have seen before or just increase size yourself. Nothing is ever wrong just different..

There are two methods to get bigger designs: 1. to scale them - stitch count stays the same and the density is considerably lowered; 2. to resize them - density stays the same, stitch count increases.
If you don't have the means (software) to resize them, you could use a thicker thread. I like the open and lacy result you got in this case, the squares look really nice.
