He still has a ways to go to fight off the lung infection but the imminent threat of him dying from carbon-dioxide poisoning has now eased considerably and the doctors will be able to help him.
I bawled like a baby when Nancy told me, and I am sure it was Divine intervention that made it happen.

Just spoke with Nancy, Pete is still in ICU and the doctors won't give her a prognosis, they just keep saying it's going to be a battle, one step forward, two steps back.
