away to have the memory in it pulled back up and restore it to cd's....It costs 39.00, but you cannot have those precious memories lost...They restored every picture I took even the ones I deleted on my camera at the time...so before you format your card, check this out...once you format it they are gone....I hope this helps someone down the line....loves deanna

So glad you were able to get your pictures Deanna. Those days are so precious. I have worked as a computer tech for 10 years before I became a librarian. It is true that items may be able to be recovered if you do not format. I have helped many professors retrieve thesis papers they had thought were gone.

You are so right about memories and how valuable they are. We lost all of our childhood pictures in an accident and it still makes my stomach turn over when I think about it. Glad that you got yours back and thanks for sharing the info. love to you!;)

I'm so glad you were able to get this done. We had a flood at my house about 15yrs. ago and I had all of my pictures and ones from my mother distroyed, as well as my daughters wedding video. Things you cna never get back. On the good side my daughter had an extra copy of her video. Arlene

I am glad that you were able to get your pics. I do not store pictures on the SD card - I usally put to a file, and save them that way. That way, I do not take a risk of losing something that I was wanting. Like pictures I took of my parents and left the film in the camera which quit working. We could not retreive any of those, but with digital cameras now we can do so much.

The cost would be the small thing to have all those pictures after thinking you had lost them. Worth every penny!!! Happy for you, Judy
