Does anyone have any good ideas for a February challenge? Valentines, hearts . Make something red maybe. Throw out your ideas and lets do something together.

Valentines for February would be great - but I do think that whatever we do, we need to use one of the designs from Miss Veronika - just to show our appreciation. February is a hard month for me, and maybe this will distract me some. Ok you other Cuties - what do we do?

I like the idea of a challenge - why don't we do any of the Valentine Appliques - here on CUTE - thinking outside the box - how many different ways - could we make any of these designs - there are four of them - look different from what the other's have done or what we would use these designs for? These can not be voted on - so perhaps - someone has a better idea.
We could do any of the LACE Valentine's Day Font - most of have one or more of those - don't we?

It's a good idea. The Sunflower challenge was great fun. Doing the same design made it so much more interesting, when we saw the variety of ways it could be used. I think you may end up needing to choose, just as Sue did :)

I really like the applique' animals with hearts. I don't see to many possiblities with the lace, and not everyone is going to want to use the same alphabet. Which means we would need to be able to download the whole alphabet. I also agree that it needs to be a Ms. Veronica design to show how much we appreciate all shes done for us!

In the UK Valentines are only for lovers so we don't make a lot of things. However if I was to set a challenge I would say no red or pink probably!

as for valentines are only for lovers-does that mean that adults are the only ones in the UK that recognize and celebrate it??? Jeepers-here in the USA-grade school kids even exchange Valentines. Hmmm...different cultures, different customs. Bev's idea sounds like fun!

Sometime, not necessarily this February, I'd like to try out doing some redwork. I was thinking some white on red and of course valentines would be pretty. I want to make a tablecloth for my mom. Any hints would be nice. I heard you need to NOT use tear away stabilizer.... is this correct? I'd love to participate in this February project!

I have made a decision to let this challenge be a choose what you want to make, would like to see it be one of Ms Veronicas designs. You have until Feb 13th to complete. Come up with something pretty and unique. i know you Cuties are full of ideas and talent.

I hope to join in this month's challenge. I started on the "sunflower challenge" and then "things" came up, like sickness, keeping Grandchildren, death in my husbands family. Well, that's just normal life isn't it? I'll try to finish it and post pic anyway. I think it's a good way for us to try all the different kind of emb. designs.
