does anyone know where I can find free placement templates to download? Napkin and towel placment? Thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. There's a template/grid that comes with our hoops, with which to work out where a design is going to sew. I think people put designs on towels and teatowels according to their own preference. On tea towels, I like to put my designs in the bottom right hand corner so that one has enough of the teatowel left to use :) On towels, I either put the design in the centre of the lower piled area, above or below, or both, depending how it fits. Sometimes I put designs on towels about halfway between the centre to the right hand or left hand edge, in case they are folded on the rail. Hope this is of some help.

Nancy's Notions has some placment kits. I believe your local Viking store inside Joann's would have something as well.
