coarse was off-key - Hehehe! We had a presentation from the host on stabilizer and she had a wonderful hand out with lots of tips - we learned alot - the funnist part for me was when ever one got to do show and tell - Terri had made a challenge from the previous month to make a cover for our embroidery binders and there were some super idea's shown - we had two new ladies join us this month - but we will have to keep the gathering small so that we can still met in everyone's homes. I had a great time and shared a ride up with Terri's cousin - which made it so nice - for the two of us. And yes, I have a picture to share of Terri and I - you will have to wait a moment for me to post it. Hehehe!

I have just turned my laptop on and read this, still waiting for the photo but sounds like you had a brilliant time. It is great to meet with others with the same interests so you can talk, talk and talk about the bits and pieces of machine embroidery or whatever.

Karen, hopefully you will come back and see the picture later. I loved all the hours that I was away and then - when I was home - I got to share it with Rick's too - he was so happy for me - he also had a lady that sat with him - a new thing for us - she cleaned up for me and fix him a meal - so he was pampered, too. Terri called later and we had an exciting time talking on the phone - we are blessed with a great friendship. *4U

Oh this is so nice and so good. And Terri is a real fashion girl. I saw that the kind of head band she is wearing was a big hit in the UK when I was there in Dec. Will hit as here in the winter I suppose.

I'm in a group of 6 ladies which come together once in a month and talk and a talk and show each other what we have been sewing the last weeks. We are plannig to stay over the weekend 11-13th of February in a sommerhouse and sewing, knitting, talking and eating and have fun. We always do that once or a twice in a year and that´s so enjoyable.

Shirene, how great it is to get with Terri and share in your love of sewing. My best friend that I did these type of things with, moved last year. Her husband passed away and she moved closer to her family. I wanted her to be happy, yet I didn't want her to go. Glad you had a great time. Hugs, Judy

Oh it was really nice - Teri is the only one I knew - before October - so they are all new friends to me. When I lived in North Carolina - I had a couple ladies that I became friends with through a Embroidery Club and besides the once a month that we would met to do a project at the sewing center - we would also go to lunch or dinner and get togehter to do projects - one of them really become my best friend and when I moved to Utah - she was heart broken - the same as you - but she knew I would be around family and she was happy for me - we still talk on the phone and email and she contacts me whenever she is doing a project that she can't remember what to do. Hehehe! I love it.

Twee (Terri) has invited me to a luncheon that she is having after an activiate with a group of students that she meets with - I look forward to sharing some more time with her come this Saturday, February 5th. I will not be taking Rick with me - it will be the first time that I will have left him alone for any time by himself, so this will be a lesson in trust for the both of us - that he can manage and that I can enjoy myself without worrying about him. Hehehe!
