Probably not to everyone's taste, but I had a fancy to make Tonnie's flowers (from DBC) all in black. I couldn't get any black organza so I used two layers of net instead. They stitched out beautifully - much more neatly than the others I'd done on organza.

Very nice - I have stitched on netting, but also on tulle - each material stitches just a little differently. Good job.

Never thought of black but I wear black hats in winter and the flowers would be nice an the monotone leaves elegant. I'll have to try to get some netting or tulle. I think it comes in different opening sizes for the holes-like finer to coarser.
Thanks for the idea.
