For Christmas I made the paper doll and a couple of outfits for my second granddaughter. I had made her sisters more outfits so I "owed" her more. I did this in two hoopings. It took all day long last Saturday. I am enclosing a note with these to share with her sisters. The paper doll is from Tuckers Treasure. My favorite are the boots. I have a hooping of just shoes and hats to do too. Becky

There are 5 girls but only the oldest three are really able to play. I am sure the 2 year old will be wanting to join in soon. I have a baby sister from another site I am making for her. It is larger and comes with fewer clothes choices.

Yes they do. I had made the doll and clothes for Hannahs two sisters and I have made her the boy doll but she specifically asked me to make her a girl doll. I couldn't refuse.

Thank you. They are very fun to choose the colors. I have now made them enough to realize what the choices will be. Like on several the color choice was black outline but I chose to use one to match the outfit.

A long ways from the "paper dolls" I use to play with. Look great.

Yes they are. You spray them with temporary adhesive to make the clothes stay on. I remember tearing my paperdolls clothes and also my paperdolls would become broken at the head and sometimes would even break off. One place I looke suggested velcro but I thought the hook side would eventually fray the threads. My daughter tells me the temporary adhesive is working. And if they get dirty from all the handling they can be WASHED!!! Try that with our "paper dolls" hehe. Becky

Iva, I have paperdolls from three web sites. The ones I put in projects are from Tuckers Treasures. She had to close her old web site and I didn't find these on her new site. But I have also
Purchased from two other sites. Their information is below:

I love the clothes you made! I made a paper doll and some clothes from a Husqvarna embroidery card, they are lovely but old-fashioned or should I say heirloom. These modern outfits are so much nicer to play with. Well, I know what to do, design some outfits myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

You are welcome. The girls can't seem to get enough. I have more planned. Just got to find the time. I will be spending a week with my daughter when her baby is born but don't know how much free time I will have.

Yes it is. It was fun deciding what colors to make the clothes. The girls are really into purple right now so this bunch had lots of purples.

I gave my daughter a can of temporary adhesive. When they get dirty she just washes them in the sink with dish soap and irons them dry. It is not a perfect but if the girls don't play too rough the clothes will stay on.

Becky, this was a lot of work. Your granddaughters are very lucky. When I was small (many years ago) I had paper dolls with paper outfits my mother made. I would have loved these.
