2 babies have been born during the cyclone.
They are assessing the damage now.It has been advised that no one leave the shelters.
It has been downgraded to a category 2, but they still have extremely strong winds.
Fruit plantations have been wiped out.

My heart goes out to those in Australia going through the horrible weather....I can't imagine winds this strong and the rain they have had....I will and have been praying for those affected.

it is 11.43 am in Queensland at the moment, at this point there has been no reports of fatalities or serious injuries. The worst hit areas are not able to be properly assessed at this point in time. Mission beach which is where the worst of the storm hit has 1 in 3 houses seriously damaged or destroy. 20% of businesses have serious damage.
