DH called out, Helen there is a snake at the door. I had to drop what I was doing to see what he was on about. It was a harmless legless lizard but he was almost peeing himself. He is terrified of snakes and all things that slither. Put it in in a plastic container and threw it over the fence. No I am not afraid of snakes but do respect their personal space......Going to bed now. It is midnight.....Hot and humid in Tamworth Australia.

So pleased that my DH is the one that deals with the uninvited guests in our home. It is the afternoon here in the Cape and also terribly hot and humid - I quite envy the Cuties with the snow.

I love it...I call to my hubby for spiders and stuff and I don't know why as he is as frighten as I am and usually misses when he goes to hit them and then we both feel bad when he hits them, we must have both been monks in a previous life as we prefer to throw them outside than kill them..crazy, huh?

My husband doesn't like bats. He'd rather hide in the bathroom while I catch it and release it back outside. A few times a week during the fall months, lol! We redid our roof about 2 years ago. Were ever they where coming in must have been closed up during that repair. No bats in the house since.

OH MY GOODNESS...I'd have to say, I'd be hiding in the bathroom with a can of wasp spray and a bat and I don't know what else...YOU are a BRAVE woman.

okay, okay, not THE bat, but a baseball bat. :)

It doesn't bother me in the least to kill spiders or snakes, or ants or any other creepy crawley critter! Although I am a real softie for furry or feathered creatures.
