Definitely the needles as they would be easy to pack. You could as for bobbins maybe if you give her the right info. How about a roll of WSS or a roll of thin tearaway. Maybe some titanuim scissors? small scissors for thread, maybe someone will come up with a better idea

What about some sewing-quilting templates? Needles are great. I don't know what kinds of things you can purchase in the UK. Lots of goodies to find in the notions isle of the store for sure. Wendi

If they stop by before they buy they may be able to pick up a 40% coupon that they can use within the next few days. Unless of course, they are already on the mailing list. They give out the coupons for the next sale just before the sale. It changes about every 2 weeks I think.

The needles or even some of the special patterns that they have there - just remember that what ever they get does have to go through security. But as long as the baggage is checked scissors may go through. If you go on line - look for the coupon area - I think that you may be able to download some for them - or their daughter can get from the newspapers. Lucky girl - you will get a surprise.

I bring back with me Cottons, Bobbin Thread, Rolls of WSS (not the plastic) tearaway & Needles. The baggage allowance is now a lot less than it used to be so when talking to your friend remind her to check on her checked baggage weight give her a list & she can ask for a total weight before she buys. International postage out of USA has also skyrocked.
