FSL? Can you use them like regular designs and stitch them out or are they set up to only be stitched out for FSL?

I use them both ways and have never had any problems putting FSL designs on something that I was making. I made FSL Christmas ornaments and used an organza base because I thought they looked better. - Aileen

You can usually use the fsl designs on any other fabric. They have been specifically designed for use on washaway but there is no saying that you can't use fabric. Sew away and enjoy

Some FSL designs might be too dense for your fabric - but without doing a test stitch out - you will never know - take a chance. *4U

I know some of Sonia Showalters fsl is designed for washaway stabilizer only, she has the same design for fabric. so the answer is yes and no, just depends on how it stitches out

Some are pretty heavy on the thread so they might not work but then there are some that are very "airy" and those should be fine. Like Shirlene (our FSL expert)says, give it a try. Maybe on a scrap of fabric. Good luck with your project!

thanks to every one's answers, we do learn something every day, my thoughts was that the fsl just have more stitches, so give it a whirl!
