After seeing all of the potholers that other Cuties were doing, I decided that I had to get off my duff, and try to make these. I have had this pattern tucked into my "To Do" drawer for probably 5 years. I messed up when I purchased the black binding that I was going to do with these, and had to use something that I all ready had - but these are going into the Valentine bag for the "girls". These usually get a dish towel for each holdiday, but this year they will get a towel, and a pot holder. If I can get the towels done this week. LOL

I purchased the pattern when I first got into machine embroidery. Of course, there is not one bit of embroiery here. But the pattern is by Classic Crafts I do not know if there is a site for it. I purchsed through the Viking Gallery at our JoAnn store.

That is kind of what I was going for, but I made the mistake and bough the wrong size binding - just used what I had. But, I can do others. LOL

they are lovely. I have some old patterns too, I keep taking them out and putting them back up again. I have one with the sunbonnets,it is so cute. It has boy and girl breeches, Sue bonnet, apple, pear, orange, bee, house. It is simply cute and full of little decorative pieces, which is why I keep putting it away. I really like yours.

Oh, you need to work on them - it is fun to do something just a little different from what we normally do.

Well - it appears that there is a free pattern on the Martha Stewart Site. I will try to get the URL for here

http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/heart-shaped-pot-holders

Just copy and paste. I had purchased my pattern some time ago.
