I've been asked to make doggie leggins and the dogs legs are no larger than two pencils together. LOL... So I'm taking some socks and cutting them up to makes these. I'll take pictures when I'm through and share them in projects.

How funny! Can't wait to see these. Do people spoil and pamper their pets or what.

LOL sounds cute! Can't wait to see the pictures. I have 3 Jack Russels and they love the little outfits I got them from Walmart for winter time. It keeps them warm and when they see the outfits in my hands they run up to me jumping up and down. I wanted to make sure that they wanted to wear them and not just me wanting to see how cute they look!
When I take the outfits off to wash them they chase me and want the outfits to be put back on!! It's crazy to watch! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Hugs Dawn

I have 2 Jack Russels and they keep me busy. They are so possessive about their blankies. They won't share, each has their own.

Dawn that is so funny. I can't imagine a dog wanting to wear clothing, but it sounds like they truly like it. :)

Sounds like leggings for a Chihuahua, since the legs are so thin. Little dog must be going out into the snow a lot. Thought about making vinyl booties for my Yorkie but he loves the cold and besides he gets extra attention when he comes in from the cold wet snow, lots of towel action on feet and tummy.

Yep that is what they were. I actually used my two fingers to measure. I thought it would be more accurate than pencils. hehehe.

Hey, to each his own, lol. I could just see me trying to put leggings on my cats, lol! Now that would be a site, me covered head to toe in scratches, lol!

Kay... This was a first for me too. To each his own I guess. If I can make them and make a little on the side, I'll try just about any craft. hehehe.

Ahhh They will looks sooo cute! You could use the fingers from knitted gloves and put elastic at the top, that way the whole paw would be covered to!

Thats a really good idea Marley
by keeponsewing 08 Feb 2011
That would make a cute sock for them, but wouldn't they slip and slide in them Marley? I'll have to think about that. It might work... LOL... However I could use the fingers for leg warmers by them selves. ;)
