OH YEA,can't seem to help ourselves. Now we just need to find a project to do with all the designs we have downloaded. Sure is fun though. I check my computer everyday along with many other ladies who have just as much fun as I do. Join the crowd! Roberta

What do you mean by Binders?. Do you print out the designs?.
by obaachan 08 Feb 2011
I too have binders. I print designs as per disks (designer 1 machine). then I number the disk and the pages the same so I know what designs are on what disk.
Jo
Ps.... AND YES downloading is very addictive !!!
by hightechgrammy 08 Feb 2011
I don't have ANY binders. What do you do with binders? I can view all my designs on my computer. Do I NEEd binders? AM I missing out on something????
by ethan 08 Feb 2011
What am I missing, do I need to DOWNLOAD More .... to put in binders
by obaachan 08 Feb 2011
OH... you guys are missing out ! I recently took my "Binders" to a 4-H meeting with me and let all of my 4-H kids (ages 8 to 14) go through them and pick a design for me to put on jackets that I had bought them.. they had a blast looking at all the designs I have collected, some even had a hard time choosing just the right design. It was so much FUN !!!

It sure is addictive. I try to have my machine going when I am on the computer downloading or digitising. In this way at least I am using some of the designs, which my son keeps telling me "Mom you will never use all those designs" haha

If I had to use every design I down loaded and worked 18 hours in a day it would still take me at least 20 years to sew them all out. But I am still downloading because you never know..........

It is most certainly addictive. It also creates problems as one has so many designs to choose from. Much time is used looking for the perfect design.
But what a wonderful 'hobby'

It truly is a "Habit"! I am still in the 12 Step Program
after several years of downloading; 12 steps to get my cup of coffee, 12 steps back to the computer, 12 more sites to search, 12 more designs to download.......! And, what is so important to know is, " I keep doing these twelve steps several times a day, and I am STILL ADDICTED! LOL

YES!!! It is an addiction! Anything that takes resources away from the family is an addiction. Time, money, attention.... I am having to learn to control it. Unfortunately I also buy designs, not just download free designs. I can never begin to stitch them all. But I am ready with any design I need, even in the middle of the night. I'm wondering if Cuties have other additions... Solitaire, other collections, chocolate, sudoku, American Idol, etc?? I know there are other Cat lovers here.....

Sorry I call them binders but they are 3inch notebooks that I use plastic sheet protectors in and I do print out the picture of each item and put them in the notebooks. My big machine uses floppy discs so I number the floppies and pages to match so I know which floppy each one is on. I had to have a way to get organized since I was getting so many pages and floppies. It works for me. I don't like storing them on my computer in case it may crash. I buy patterns and get freebies. Got to stop but I always find another one I have to have. LOL

Goodness is it! But... there is help... Once you start testing some of the desings... and find that not all designs are created equal... you start being more choosy, and start picking the digitizers, you think do a better job... then you don't have to download just every design out there... at least it was for me. I have had some designs with such poor results, and it is not the fabric, nor the stabilizer, nor the thread, it is the design itself...

But enjoy the addiction while it lasts! I did.
