Here are the doggie leg warmers that I made today after the request for some. I think they turned out cute. The next pair I make, I'll serge the top and bottom before I hem them. I serged them also. I cut both top and bottom of sock (this is the whole foot part), then turned them inside out and hemmed around the top and bottom. I then eyed the middle and sewed 1/4" to the left of the middle line, and then 1/4" to the right of the center line and then cut where the imaginary line was. Then serged them and turned them right side out. Easy peasy. hehehe. Tell me what you think? Give me some pointers or other ideas?

Very neat job! This dog's owner might decide she'd like to add Valentines, St Patricks Day, Easter, etc to her collection which currently contains golf socks :)

Someone asked if I made the coats, but I haven't yet. I have the pattern. We'll see. Maybe I'll make a cute set and add a clippie for their hair. hehehe.

I love them.... i have 2 taco dogs and they are always cold. I think they would really like these and i coould make them to match the coats. Great idea and you did a awesome job!

nama, I thought about it, but wasn't sure how bulky they would turn out to be. I still might try making some fabric instead of socks. :)
