Metro Threads is having a big sale and I think that I might buy it. Does anyone know if there is a Conversion Chart for Maderia and Metro Threads? Is Metro a good quality thread?

I use it all the time and they have a conversion program where you put in the brand it calls for and it gives you the numbers that would work best.

I purchased one of their full sets at a big discount awhile back. It will not run at all without a lot of thread breaks on my commercial machine but it does OK on my older Brother ULT.

Their plastic sided bobbins are good and are an excellent price. Their bobbins run fine even on my commercial machine. I can't tell any difference in the Metro plastic side bobbins and the NEB brand plastic side.

I just received my first order of 166 colors on Saturday. There were 4 minor errors & they have already taken care of them. I recommend you download their free inventory/conversion program & input your order to verify. So far, I've been pleased. Brand new to embroidery. I have the Brother PE-780D.

I have all 166 colors and got prewound bobbins too. My Brother machine loves it (my old one and my new one too). They have a free conversion software that will convert from just about anything (including maderia) to Metro colors. NOTE: Sometimes the conversion is not overly close - I use the first and second choices as a starting point when I pull the colors for a project - then switch out where I don't think it looks just right.

I have a question for the ones that bought the package of 66, are there a lot of colors that you don't use. I am considering buying but I don't know if I want the package .
