This came about as one of my daughters didn't have 'ribbon bookmarks' in her bible like her sisters, so I made her one using cardstock to tuck down the spine of her bible. Then I thought it would be cool if I sewed one, and this is what I came up with. Now they all have extra ribbon markers in their bibles:) I am feeling quite pleased with myself as hubby bought me Embird for Christmas, and it's the first time I have used it to make anything. Baby steps - now I will have to tackle a real design!

I have put a few on the sales table at church (we are raising funds for a desperately needed new roof) so it will be interesting to see how they go.
