I really liked the battenberg flower that Christief digitised and loaded into DBC. I can think of many things to do with this little flower! Last night, I stitched out a few in hot pink. Then, I started digitising. I digitised the stem and leaves....and at the top of the stem (which you don't see, it's under the flower) is a small circle. This circle stitches once for placement and stops. Then I centered the flower on the small circle...and stitched again, this time to tack down. I thought the buttons worked cute for the flower centers..and help give them more dimension. The towels are Martha Stewart...had them in my stash, which worked perfect! Because this reminded me of the "flowers" that we all give...I have named it "My Cute Garden"! Hope you like it! It was fun to do....better than trying to finish up my taxes...ha ha

Kim, this is very CUTE, indeed. What a CUTE garden you have. Your digitizing the stemand leaves and the placement of the flowers along with the buttons have made Christie's Battbenberg flower even nicer than it already was - how very clever - thanks for all the info and great presentation. *4U Shirlene

I'm so happy that you like this project, Shirlene. I originally was thinking about a purse front...then switched it out to a tea towel, which I really thought worked well. Maybe there is still some hope for a purse, yet!

Kim,your project is so cute, I l♥ve it! Any chance of getting the "extra" digitized stem? The buttons in the middle look great with the different colors, it really adds to the overall project.
