Can someone tell me why some of my alpha files show a "sewing machine with my "sew format" showing instead of the design?

When I got a new computer I thought I lost the design,but a friend told me about Ambassador and I have to covert them all over again. I downloaded the cute turkey napking ring several times never came up and someone had to use PES V-6 to bring it up. So now I have the picture of it for the first time on my computer. Maybe try converting again in your format. Im new but it helped me.

I believe the sewing machine is just a symbol of the sew format. Each format has a different one.

I think Carolyn(clawton) is right about the symbol-I know mine is jef format and my symbol is 2 flowers-if a design shows anything or other than that, I have to use Ambassador to convert. ~linda~
