Hello Deanna, Thank you for you answer. I suppose if I make these items that I did not have today, the people who wanted them will not come back next month

Great to hear you sell at Market, Never heard of milk jug covers. make sure you tell people to have always have toaster unplugged. Biggest cause of home fires. For toaster covers the popular size is the 4 slot, next is the one that has slanted top. Are they referring to a tea cozy? When you make it make sure to make the little pad to rest the tea pot on.(not as heavily padded as a pot holder) Good Luck, Stella

Don't they keep a bug from flying in the cream jug?

A tea cozy tutorial is given at Urban Threads

The directions are for a rather punk rock deal...but the basic idea should be the same.
I hope this is helpful. *4all

Thank you for this site. Has given me some ideas. Just a guy asked if I had any penguins. His friend apparently has a large collection of them. Lyn

I think now matter what you have for sale there will always be someone with a special request. Have you thought of taking custom orders? Just make sure you get a deposit first to make things easier

I notice a few of you were asking about the milk jug covers. These are usually crocheted with little glass beads on the sides to hold it over the jug. I've added a picture - there are all sorts if you Google in Images and just type in Crocheted Milk Jug Covers. Love and blessings Chris

I have an idea for milk jug covers. Do you have any designs for FSL coasters or doileys? If you make them, coasters for small covers and doileys for larger covers, and then add glass beads around the edges, enough to hold the cover down they should look very pretty. Of course, with the extra beads and handwork you charge a bit more... :} ... but they should be fairly quick to make if you go into FSL mode for a while and then do the beading by the TV that night.
BTW - what market do you sell in? I used to frequent the Stirling Market, Petticoat Lane I think they called it, when we lived in Verdun School House.

Lyn, Glad you had a good day at the Market. I used netting and you can do a border and add beads for a Milk Jug cover. Hugs Yvonne
