As most of you know, Jim & I own and operate a Cleaning Service. This is my REAL job...the one I HAVE to do everyday! ha ha Our biggest contract is with an Independent/Luxury Living Senior apt complex. We take care of 46 apartments each week, over three days. We have had this contract since it opened...in 2000. My parents also work there...they clean the dining room and commons areas (hallways, etc.). They also take care of the other part of this apt complex, which involves weekly, cleaning 18 double story hallways (with laundry rooms), the community room and they paint EVERY apt in the WHOLE complex when they vacate. They are just as busy, if not more, than we are at that property. Well, last fall, my Dad found out he needed his gallbladder out - couldn't pass the stress test - was too plugged for stints - and had quadruple by-pass surgery the first week of December. This all started, just as I was heading into my BIG craft show season - in fact, the day of his surgery, I almost pulled a 24 hour day - surgery, set up a show - cleaned our acct at Morton Salt...it was quite a day! Because of his surgery, Jim and I have picked up thier work on top of ours since Novemember...(not the painting, tho...we are not painters!) and still have about another month until he is back to work. It's been overwhelming to say the least...as we have a full schedule of our own....days and evening, just about every day. Sometimes I wonder how I got through the day - or how I will get through the next, but I do! A new resident just moved into the Manor. While I was cleaning her bathroom, I noticed this cute little verse hanging on the wall. I look at it each week and smile. :) Now, I know just HOW I have gotten through all those long days...because I have had someone (other than Jim!) with me each day - to keep me going when I wondered how I could. So, I digitised the little verse with a cute little border. I think I will sew another one out for the resident - but this one, will be hanging on MY wall...as a MORNING REMINDER!
