Today is National Grumpy Day and Do a Grouch a Favor Day

We all have times like that. Maybe it's one of those times to be thankful of having floors to clean, dishes to wash etc etc. Unlike so many, who are so much worse off than us that they don't even have embroidery machines to lift their days -doesn't bear thinking about, does it???

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be so sweet to the old goat that he won't know what hit him!

I like that saying "Sometimes I wake up grumpy, sometimes I let him sleep" Reminds me of my ex husband. LOL

LOL, I woke up before my Grouch! When he went out to do some errands, I hustled around the kitchen and got everything all set for his favorite dinner, lasagna. So I think that will cheer him up :)

I like the sound of that, LOL. Perhaps I should call my ex and tell him how thrilled I am not to be married to him any longer? (no, perhaps I'll just enjoy it quietly!). Perhaps if we prepare a bit earlier next year, we can all embroider on a T-shirt -a suitable message to cheer up the local grump :) Thanks for cheering *us* all up with that thought!

I try to be nice to grouchy people all the time. especially when I was working as a nurse. they run out of steam pretty quick if you just keep being nice.

I used to work as unit support in the heart unit. I know how hard you ladies work to keep positive no matter what your patients are like. Some days its not easy. You have my respect and graditude for all you did. Not enough people say thank you to the staff for all their hard work and care at hospitals. So heres a thank you for all you did while being a nurse. Thank you!! *4u and hugs too!
