I made the bias trim and then made the flower colors to match. Designs from Tuckers Treasures. Am I the only one that loves a decorated sweatshirt!?

I love this! Now may I ask...how do you determine the slope and curve around the neckline? Pink is definitely my color and need to make me a spring jacket. :-) teri

Thank you. This sweatshirt had small v of ribbing at the top so I just cut that and the neck ribbing off and sloped it a bit. I wasn't happy with the slope so I trimmed the curve so it was less rounded. If it hadn't had the v, I would probably have just cut it straight.

Great inspiration. Did you have much trouble with the sleeves? Did you turn them inside out?? How did you do them? Also, was there ribbing around the sleeves to begin with and did you chop that off? This is adorable.... I think I'll make one for my mommy who is having surgery in a couple weeks to replace a knee.... Give her happy thoughts :)

Thank you. Yes, I cut the ribbing off the sleeves and neck area. I opened the sleeve that I embroidered on and then sewed it shut again and put the trim on it. I also put a design in the back, just below the neck area. Good luck to your Mom.
