A very old overlocker (serger) but it works like a bomb!!!

Your sewing area looks great, you have used your space well. I think my problem is I have too much space and am a horder too so I have expanded to use all the space and now need more. It is hard to reduce the collection

You have not see my spare bedroom cupboards - full of materials, stablizers and other sewing things that we all seem to collect.

Vicki, No stainglass unfortunately and the spool rack (with my ordinary cottons) was built in the cabinet when we bought it. The whole thing closes over my machine and overlocker and I have to put my embroidery machine in a cupboard in my spare bedroom. My DH made the spool racks that are on the table.
Vicki, I realise what you thought was stainglass is our burglar bars - that is how we live here in SA.
LOL!!! At least they are decorative!! We have a vacation home in Arkansas and it has gotten broken into twice, so we had to resort to putting bars on the windows on that house...so far so good!!

Oh Sarah, that is a beautiful corner! Very pretty and neat. We are not neat people so everything is cluttered. In my room with the corner there is also a tall dresser (the kind that are from Target and you stack different types), an old antique dresser that I dreamed some day would be a side board in a dining room that I guess I will never have with a TV on it, a chair in front of the other window for the cats to look out and a loveseat. Also piles of clothes and shoes so it is quite the mess! All that in a 9 by 11 ft. room.

Thanks Debra. My DH is a tidy fanatic so it has taught me to be tidy as well. I just wish that if I had a sewing room I could leave everything out until the next day. Cannot have everything!!!!

I love that you posted a picture....You look so neat and organized. I think I'll have to straighten up my sewing area and take some pictures too. Only problem is that I have been trying to clean it up for months...so it may be a bit longer before I want to photograph anything Oh well Happy sewing LOL

I use a bedroom. We have a murphy bed that gives me room.
