Do any Cuties know where I can get a pattern (ITH perhaps) for holding individual plates when hot. Thank you in advance. Sarah.

Sarah do you mean one that completely envelops the plate or just more a mit type of glove.

As for single mit style ones there are some nice ones on Daffy Down Dilly. Love and blessings Chris

Thanks Chris - I will have a look. What I am looking for is less than a mitt - it is like 2 half moons sewn together, just to grip the edge of the plate. Very Difficult to Describe!!!!LOL

I have had a look at the site and that is more or less exactly. Unfortunately I only have a 4x4 hoop. I think I will make them by hand and embroider a design. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for this post. I've been wanting to see if someone would make these too. We call them microwave mitts. I can make them without a pattern on my regular sewing machine, but it's so easy to do ITH... All you do is trace your hand and flip it then allow about 2-3" between. do your layers and bind the edges and you have it, but I'm too lazy to do that. hehehe.
