How washable is mylar? I saw a few mylar deisgns done on towels & was wondering how well it held up. Charla

I haven't done it on a towel but have on a t-shirt and it has been washed many times and still looks good

I have seen reports of the coloured mylar losing colour which has affected other articles. The opal irridescent doesn't seem to lose any colour.

It depends of the color of mylar. The transparent: opal is very good washable I used it on shirt'but I washed it inside out :)
