I am making some couch pillows for my parents annn. The pillow forms are 14" square. Can anyone tell me how big I should make the casing for the pillows? Thank you for all your help.

I would make them 13 inches. That would make them fit snuggly.
If you have time to make a simple test in muslin then you could see how snug you like it.

I work in the home decor industry and we make the cases 1" smaller, like sewmom said. If they are filled with down, you could even go 2" smaller. I hope this helps.~Nancy

I also agree, if you cut them larger, the corners are wimpy. I would cut them 13 inches and use a 1/2 inch seam allowance.

Great question! I recemtly made cushions with 16" polyester fillers and made the cushion covers 16" also and they fitted a treat!
