I would choose a font that not dense,,,,to the extreme. I would use a WSS under and over (sandwich it) and hoop it. Make sure you have a new needle size 9. I would use the same thread in the bobbin.

I agree! This is how I would do It, too. Also, I would practice on a scrap piece of the fabric first.

Embroidery on Organza works very nicely so I wouldn't be too hesitant to try working on a net or tule material. Just pray...... he he

Just as has been suggested - sandwich the veil between WSS - top and bobbin and you might had an extra layer of it - just to make it secure.
