Made a quick trip here before I start jury duty. Hopefully I won't get picked for the jury & can come home early. Charla

Good luck, Carla! I get called for jury duty often. I've served on several cases, too. Not the way I want to spend my days.

Charla, I hope you are right - but if you do get picked - let your judgement in the case be for justice. *4U

Been summoned twice and had to be excused both times. I'm the only one who can make sure that my dear husband gets his meds right and is not on a ladder ton the roof! would mind doing it otherwise. Think it's a duty rather than a right.

I am so lucky, as I still have a Dutch passport but live in UK I can not be called up!

Me too!! But there were no cases on the docket for today and we have to call every day after 5 to be see if we come in or not. Only runs until Mar 3, so that's not bad.

Yea!!! Neither I nor anyone else got picked for duty. All the cases were settled or postponed. I get to stay home. Charla

You might be surprised if you're selected for this jury, the case may be interesting and then too you'll learn something about the law. I've only been seated in a jury trial twice and it was quite interesting. Thankfully I didn't get picked to sit in on the huge murder trial though..think I looked to much like the murderess...lol
