I bet you're not!! I happen to be a "Pfaffie", But Brother seems to be really popular. One of my best friends has a new Brother. I think it's a Duetta or something like that and she raves about it. Who cares, whatever floats you're boat. They're all addictive aren't they. Now get busy Grandma you've got lots of baby stuff to make. Need any help..give me a shout. I've been stitching for grandbabies for about 6 yrs nonstop. Hopefully there won't be any new ones for at least 9 mo. Hahahahaha

I still drag out the manual, it's a head full. But you are going to love your new machine. I have one that will only do embroidery (arm does not remove) and one that does both. The embroidery dedicated one has never given me any problems in over 5 yrs. Great little machine...I love it. Yours will probably be just as dependable. Happy sewing!

I have a Brother marymoore and i Luv it i have a 1500D i got it just b 4 christmas i had a 500D pooh machine i brought S/H a couple months maybe b4 i wanted to do bigger designs so i sold it to a friend as it was only 12mths old :)* 4 u

I am like you....I have a Brother too. Mine is the "less expensive" one, but, I am just starting out....and I am completely blown away by what I can do with it. I also have Ped Basic for it, which is nice......however, I wish I had personalizing and editing software for it. Kinda hard for me to spend tons of money on that though......I'll have to wait until I can afford it!!!

hi daily laundry mine is the lest expensive also i have the he 120 got it from Hsn if you look through the community they gave me all kinds of sites to download free trials of software and some are just free software if i get time i will post the links here for you
Yep, our machines are the same. I have had it about 6 months and so far it is a gem! Please so send me any info about software when you can. I have a laptop with Vista on it. Thanks!!!!!(Flower to you)

check out amazing designs they have digitizing software you may be able to use. They even have a free trial. Not sure if it works with Vista. Give it a try!

hi mary you are ot alown on that one i had a machine called empesil and brother brought them out so when i neaded a new machine i had to have a brother now i have 3 brothers 1 overlocher 1 straight sewer and my big one the 4000d but have not mastered it yet hope to some day

besides my grannys 1977 singer and my little holly hobby i had this brother is soooooooooooooooo different
I believe they are all a little different from the other - only because - they are made by different companies, mine is so much like a brother, though.

Well, Marymoore as you can plainly see your not the only on ewho has a brother. I have two. My little one Disney PE-150 the grand giels use mosrtl and then my 5X7 field one.Its a PC-8500D. I'm sure it does more than I know about but it does beautiful embroidery. so you see we all have lots of brothers out there.

Odd? Not possible with all these Brother owners...LOL! I have a Brother SE-270D also with Disney Designs. It's my first embroidery machine and I really enjoy the results.
