I am sure someone else will give you a great answer. If I was doing it I would use water soluble and some type of net etc and trim close.

I see you are in Germany, do they sell mod podge there, It is a decopage glue. i use it on small fsl pieces and it makes it very hard, almost like plastic. You could then add a pin back. good luck. i hope you find something that works for you

I would use light weight tear away stablaizer and stitch it on organsa or a light cotton matching tGhe color. Trim it close. Soak or spray on startch. and glue a pin on the back. Good luck would like to see what you come up with.

Hi, I sometimes use miss matched earrings for pierced ears..ones that I've lost one, or find at estate sales and thrift stores. They are great for using to attach FSL to clothing and make them unique. A tie tack works well, also.*4U

I have used pin backs to my FSL and it works. By stitching on organza it also adds a little more stability. You just have to be very sure that you do not cut the stitches when you trim the organza prior to rinsing the WSS. I do like that idea of the modge podge - I have never tried that. I have taken silk flowers and used modge podge on them and did some crafts. It hardens and makes it more like a ceramic so that it can be washed off, and kept clean.

I would buy pin backs from the craft store and then sew some matching threads that wouldn't show much through the butterfly and around the pin back. They are usually an inch or so long and have a few holes in the part you attach to your project. It has the regular pin with the sliding part that goes over the pointed end.
