You should put your embroidery in a frame to protect it from the elements. Looks like it's in the kitchen which plays havoc with fabrics. It would look really nice in a simple acrylic frame similar to grannys.

Have you ever thought about doing a scrapbook? I don't know what size your cloth is but you can get those large books. Put your work in the book with photo's of your Granny, your own memories written and other treasures to preserve and look at any time you desire. XOXO and flowers for you
