By the way. Flowers are for fun, saying thank you, and marking a post you read. Click the flower and it changes color. You can only give one flower to each post and you cannot give yourself one. You also get a flower for coming to Cute ever day. Your flower count will show up under your screen icon.

Glad you found us....its all in time how you learn to navigate...you learn each day something new...WELCOME TO THE CUTE FAMILY...I put the community page as my favorite link..so when I click on it automatically goes here....the tabs you see are public/freebies/personal/private...
public is supposed to be for things that have to do with embroidery or sewing maybe warnings of viruses, etc....
freebies is where you can post freebies you have found and would like to share with others..you can find the links to other sites here for you to go to and download (dl)...
personals is where you find or post things that aren't really for public...these are where prayer requests, illnesses, family things, personal questions go....
private (PM) is an area where just you and the other person you are in contact can see. this is done by clicking on their name it goes to another screen..there is a tab under their name that says PRIVATE MESSAGE...by clicking on it you will be directed to another link to type something for them directly...remember only that person will see it. If you recieve a pm from someone, you will see a +1 number on your private tab...this will indicate either one was sent to you or someone has answered the pm you sent...
in the blue area you will see the words designs/redworks/alphabets/lace/applique and cross stitch....these are the designs that our LOVELY VERONIKA (site owner) has placed the designs in..
off to the top you see other tabs designs by cuties or (dbs) is where our talented cuties have digitized their designs and posted them for us to dl...these are free and very much appreciated..
projects is where we post the lovely creations we have made....
reviews is a tab for how we rate different products we have used or have...
bookmarks is another area (before freebie tab) where other sites are for people to see and go to.
Community is where you are now..almost always someone or many can and will answer all your questions...here you find your new family and sooooo many new friends....here we share love laughter and tears..strength and courage to go through life as it is....

oooh forgot...if you see a posting you want to go back to, up by the poster name their is a check mark..by clicking on it, you can save it and return to it late...

Welcome to the group! You will learn very fast as you listen to everyone else. You are braver than I was. I was here for almost a year before I did anything but collect the free design and read as many post as I could. I was afraid to join in because I did not understand how it worked. It was probably 6 months or longer before I even noticed the *******. They did not mean very much to me until I got over being too afraid of making a mistake so did not post at all. For a long time I called them smilies because they made everyone smile as they grew. That was even long after I knew they were flowers.
The more you join in with the group, the more flowers you will receive. I don't know if you have been to projects but that is one of my favorites! You can get alot of ideas and you can see alot of wonderful designs and projects made from them. Most all of our memebers, especailly the longtime crafters, have some beautiful work to display. We also have alot of new members and even new crafters that have alot of talent. It is special to the crafters when they get wonderful comments and it encourages them to show their beautiful work. I have been here long enough to have seen alot of new crafters turn into pros! Designs By Cuties are designs that the members share with the group. Most of them turn out just great when sewn. You also get a tremendous variety of designs also. If a memeber asked for something and it is not there today, it usually is in a few days! Welcome, and do not be shy. We were all new members at one time and we all felt the same way trying to navigate the site. Have fun! That is what it is all about.

I have many projects that I have made and will have to figure out how to post them. I hope we don't have to have photo bucket or some such program to post pictures.

Just make sure that your picture isn't too big and you won't have any problems!

P.S. You might see lots of little abbreviations like LOL (laugh out loud or lots of love depending on what the status of your answer is) TTT means to the top, DIL or DH - daughter-in-law, dear husband etc. If you don't know what something is - just ask.
