stitches from heart & modify design, I sewed the middle batting on the inside of the burpie, instead of the outside had to rip all that out too & then I stitched some really pretty designs on the ringbearer pillow but then I put the pieces together backwards & it's satin sew I dare not risk taking that apart! My d is really happy with it & I just didn't have the heart to point out the flaws! I just can't sit still & wait to feel 100% I gotta SEW! I should learn!

i agree with you, it is also not wise to sew or embroider when you are tired. I hope you feel better soon and can get back to doing what you love to do.

It never fails! If I attempt to do something when I do not feel well, I really mess it up good, and have to try to redo and redo usually not ever getting it to look as good as I would like for it to! My rule: When I am sick, I should read books or magazines, until I fall asleep! Never attempt anything creative and worthwhile, when you feel "yucky", cause the end result will be "yucky"!! LOL

That was one of my mum's theories. For "sew" you could also substitute "bake" - nothing rises if you aren't up to it!
