When you get the answer please PM me and let me know! I have been trying to figure this out as well. I have tried EVERYTHING and can't do it repetitively. Sometimes 2 out of 3, sometimes 3 out of 4, but never 4 out of 4 consistently - ever. I have a quilt that I want to do and I just can never get it to always line up. I've tried laying it on top, I've tried hooping it. I've tried marking it on top, marking it on bottom. I'm sure there is an answer.... I have watched every tutorial I can get my hands on and tried every last one of them too. I'm sure there is something very simple. If I find the answer - I promise I will PM you as well! My pattern makes a heart when its done correctly - except mine doesn't much look like a heart right now!!! Its driving me nuts!

I have not done these, but it's my thought that they are not to be sewn on cloth...just WSS (perhaps the fabric type-not the plastic looking kind). And to do the single pieces separately, then sew 4 single pieces together with your regular sewing machine with a zig zag stitch, as you would other fsl projects. If you go back to where the design is offered and click on the link to see the doiley she made, it is 'see through'. Hope this helps. Ann

yes Ann i can do that no problem BUT i want to learn this way for quilting on a lovely quilt & i want it right !!all lined up lol thanks carolyn
Ok, how 'bout asking Christie to combine them and post the 'whole' design here on cuties???

I agree with "annsown". It isn't a project to be done on cloth but on WSS. You almost had it though. Good luck.

So - 1st off - did you do this in your PC Program or when you were stitching it on the fabric? This design was made for WSS and to be stitched out one at a time - but I like your thinking outside the box - if you are aligning it in your PC Program - you will have to be very careful - in watching where the alignment is supposed to be - you might have a tool in your program that will auto align it by sections. What is your PC Program?

Carolyn, I did not see this earlier, so a late response.
Combining this will be a matter of very very careful measuring with templates and doing that to get these four together will be quite a job!
It would be easy to do in software, any software, but your hoop would have to be large enough to sew out the combined designs. I just tried it in mine and the size is 14.1 cm so you would need a hoop that is at least 6" x 6". Can't show it here.
