I really need to learn how to take better photos. I have a really good Nikon camera and I just use it as a point and shoot. I bet if could get some awesome results if I learned to use it better.

I have a Canon and have had various classes on how to use it in different ways. I love to photograph wild life and guess what.... Wild life does not wait till I have adjusted my camera so I still use it as a point and shoot. The only good thing is my zoom lens!

That is a very good point. I usually take photos of embroidery they so often don't look like they should. I am pretty sure my embroidery won't move while I adjust my camera. I also like to take photos of the birds, we get heaps of lovely birds in our garden.

She has a few topics she covers including photography and using Photoshop. It's an amazing site and I think anyone who enjoys machine embroidery would also enjoy her blog. I have learned a lot about photography, cooking, ranch life and LIfe in general from Ree - Check it out when you get a few minutes.

thank you I will go and check it out. It does seem a waste to have a good quality camera and not use it properly.
