make them something who aren't family or friends. When I really don't want to do this I sometimes say I will help them make 1 if they bring the fabric that they like to make it. Funny, no one has ever taken me up on the offer. And the sad thing is that I really would have enjoyed helping them make the item, I just didn't want to make 1 by myself. I like company at times when the machine is working.
